Friends I am in awe of the power of mother nature. Living in south Louisiana I have seen plenty damage from hurricanes in the past 30 something years. This past week a small tornado past through the community I live in and the damage is worse than anything I have ever seen before. My prayers are with the people that have lost homes and those that homes were damaged in this storm. Praise God my wife and I’s home was spared. Not one shingle was damaged. All the while across the street a room and patio roof was ripped off. I thank God that no one was injured in this storm. As I am writing this I am at my in-laws home due to our community being out of power for an extended period of time. Hopefully by Thursday we will have power and can return home. I think of this song when I think of how blessed we were to be spared in this storm and even if we were damaged or our home destroyed we would “Praise You in This Storm!”
